Game #1 Gateway loses to Plymouth

Gateway 12 Bourne 1
Max Sherman went the route throwing only 80 pitches fanning 6 and receiving some excellent defensive support from Devin Murray, Sean Conway and Jordan Frazier. Matt Beatty, Pete Caty and Matt Riggi led the offensive attack combining for 9 RBI Beatty led the way with five. Caty, Frazier, Conway and Steve Harrison each stole 2 bases. Ian Searles, Conway and Sherman also collected key hits for Gateway.

 

Game #3 The Gateway 11 Middleboro 6

Matt Beatty pitched 4 solid innings followed by Sean Conway, Max Sherman and Ian Searles with one inning each. Eric Souza, Chris Galavotti, Steve Harrison, Sherman, Conway and Pete Caty provided key hits in the game. Fine defensive plays were provided by Scott Gomes, Jordan Frazier, Searles, Harrison and Sherman. Gateway plays Saturday at 5:00 in a rematch versus Plymouth at Battis Field in Middleboro.

Game #4 Gateway loses to Plymouth

The 13's see action again on the weekend of July 26 at both Freetown Little Fenway and Dartmouth Steele Tournament.
