**ANNOUNCEMENTS**

Thank you to all who attended the Gatemen game on Friday night. The town of Wareham and Gateway Babe Ruth honored Coach Phil Strawn for his 50 years of coaching baseball in the town of Wareham. Coach Phil "Papa Bear" Strawn was presented with plaque commemorating his 50 years of service, and threw out the ceremonial first pitch. The Gatemen went on to win the game against Yarmouth-Dennis by a score of 6-3.

Summer Ball will Start Tuesday July 21st. It's open to all 12 year old little graduates to Graduating 15 year olds in Babe Ruth. Let your Teams know about the Summer league and if the Player Agents can notify the Little Leagues about the Summer league. It will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 5 weeks no practices. This is a good league to introduce new 12 year olds into the large diamond and the Final league for the 15 year olds. It was successful last Year. It's a relaxed league and a couple nights a week for playing ball. I'm looking for Coaches to manage the Teams. Send me a note if you want to Coach.
